Deadlines & Announcements
The CIS PhD Students Research Grants support doctoral students in international studies through two funding pathways: Standard Grants (up to $5,000) and Trailblazer Grants (up to $15,000). Research must have an international component. Selection criteria include: (1) the importance of the research question and the quality of the research proposal, and (2) the strength of the letter of support. For more information please click here. The grants process includes the Jeanne Guillemin Prize, earmarked for women PhD candidates studying international affairs. The application deadline for 2025 is March 14, 2025.
